What Does PRP Treat?
Skin quality and texture. Fine lines, dullness, laxity and overall skin quality. Often combined with microneedling, where the plasma is worked into freshly created micro-channels — the treatment popularly called a vampire facial.

How many sessions? For the face, three sessions four to six weeks apart, then maintenance every six to twelve months. For the scalp, three to four sessions four weeks apart, then maintenance every three to six months. Hair results are slow by nature — expect reduced shedding by about two months and visible change at four to six.
Who Is Suitable For PRP?
Most healthy adults. Because it uses your own blood, it suits people who want to avoid synthetic products and those with multiple allergies, and it is safe across all skin types.
It is not suitable if you have a platelet or bleeding disorder, active infection, a haematological cancer, severe anaemia, are taking anticoagulants that cannot be paused, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Heavy smoking meaningfully reduces results, as it does with most regenerative treatment.
For hair loss, diagnosis comes first. Hair loss has many causes — thyroid disease, iron deficiency, hormonal change, medication, telogen effluvium after illness or stress — and several of them are treatable without any procedure at all. We check bloods before we start, because treating iron-deficiency hair loss with PRP instead of iron would be an expensive way to get nowhere.
